Concrete Resurfacing
Ohio
The Process Of Concrete Resurfacing
- The first step of this process is a heavy cleaning of your concrete slab. We use solvents and sometimes pressure washers for slabs that are extremely soiled
- Where most clients get confused is what happens to the cracks and gouges? Well, our micro-topping goes into the crack to fill and level the crack. The micro-topping is reinforced with backers in the crack or fiberglass mesh to restrict the growth and movement of the crack
- After the cracks are filled and the micro-topping is level across the entire slab, you have to routes to choose. Leave the micro-topping as is with a sealer or choose from any of the concrete coatings that we have outlined for you down below!
Materials You Can Use For Concrete Resurfacing
When it comes to the options we provide our clients for the task of concrete resurfacing, you will be happy to know that you won’t be disappointed. We offer almost the full range of our concrete coating systems for your home and business with some coatings able to provide service in exterior situations. We are proud to serve our neighbors in Ohio with our wide range of coatings and for your convenience, we have outlined all of our most popular concrete coating systems down below:
Stamped Concrete
Stamped concrete is an amazing way to hide your existing concretes imperfections as well as offer the following benefits
- Stamped concrete applies a thick layer of material over your underlying concrete, protecting it from most forms of physical damage and chemical damage
- You can craft finishes such as natural stone, slate and cobblestone paths with stamped concrete for ultra-realistic finishes without breaking the bank
- We offer the ability to use stains to create highs and lows to make the coating look even more realistic
Metallic Epoxy
Metallic epoxy flooring is one of the most exotic flooring options on the market and here’s what they offer:
- Metallic epoxy is an ultra-durable flooring system that uses the same 100 percent solid base as an industrial epoxy flooring
- Metallic epoxy flooring can be altered with blowers, solvents, and brushes to mimic visuals like clouds, lava, and even waves
- The metallic epoxy coating also offers almost carefree maintenance with no waxes or polishes to minimize time to maintain your flooring system
Rustic Wood Flooring
Rustic wood flooring is a variant of stamped concrete, but with an elegant finish that won’t break the bank:
- With a wood stamped concrete system, you can have the timeless appeal of hardwood flooring with the durability of a stamped concrete system
- This means that your rustic wood flooring will also void all of the harsh maintenance of a standard hardwood flooring system
- We craft all of our rustic wood stamps with real hardwood, making it hard to decipher between real wood and our rustic wood flooring!
Commercial Epoxy
We even cater to our commercial clients with concrete resurfacing and provide commercial epoxy flooring with the following benefits:
- Commercial epoxy flooring provides a seamless and nonporous finish that will provide no tripping hazards in busy commercial facilities
- Thanks to its seamless and nonporous finish, the USDA has approved commercial epoxy flooring for use in most sensitive facilities ranging from restaurants to the medical field
- The surface of commercial epoxy is extremely tough as it is 100 percent waterproof and resistant to fire and electrical damage
Artistic Overlays
Artistic overlays are a more affordable version of our stamped concrete overlays but you wouldn’t be able to tell from the benefits:
- Artistic overlays provide a small layer of material over your concrete slab, but the ultra-durable micro-topping provides amazing durability in low traffic areas
- With the help of colored pigments and advanced troweling, you can achieve the effects of burnishing and even marbling
- When applied with our high-quality sealer, your overlay will be completely waterproof and can even be used in pool deck resurfacing
